HDupont Concentrated Thinner is used for lightening and thinning silk paint, particularly to give even backgrounds with no brush strokes or hard lines.
The thinner makes colours more transparent so they appear lighter or pastel when applied to white silk. It also delays the drying time of the paint
HDupont Concentrated Thinner comes in 250 ml bottles. To use, mix 1 part thinnner to 24 parts water (distilled water is best), this mixture can then be added to the colours in any proportion you like to achieve colours of varying shades.
