This Kuretake Fude Pen Nihon-Date Kabura No.55 is a double ended brush pen with a hard and soft brush tip.

Fude pens are a type of brush pen used traditionally for Japanese calligraphy but are a great tool for many artists.

The 2 different brush tips make lettering, outlining and inking illustrations as simple as possible. The soft brush tip is more flexible than a normal tip making it easier to create thick or thin strokes, while the hard brush tip is stiffer and allows for a greater degree of control. It is filled with black water-soluble dye ink.
