Good for pastel paintings - Nice quality paper with just the right amount of tooth for soft pastel. One side is slightly more textured but I used the smooth side to test and found it was perfect for subtle blending. I cut the sheet up into 4 and still have one piece left which I am going to try the more textured side for some more vigorous effects. I'm not sure whether you could underpaint on this surface as I haven't tried it, but I liked it enough that I want to purchase more to experiment.

LanaColours A4 packs - Lovely subtle colours, nice strong paper. I use it for making sculptural books. Both surfaces are easy to print using my Epson printer. The smooth side is successful with letterpress. It's not easy, for many reasons, to judge the colours from the Great Art website, but a colour swatch is available free of charge from the manufacturer.
