LEFRANC & BOURGEOIS Gilding Wax is a professional quality wax for creating a patina on decorative objects, mouldings etc. It is suitable for indoor and outdoor use. The wax is sold in 30 ml jars with screw caps.

This LEFRANC & BOURGEOIS Gilding Wax is solvent based and contains metallic pigments which provide intense, iridescent metallic colours. They are highly opaque and dry to a waterproof and weather resistant finish. LEFRANC & BOURGEOIS Gilding Wax is suitable for use on wood, plaster, cardboard, glass, stone, paper, fabric, ceramics etc.

N.B. do not use on supports painted with glycerine; decorated items are not suitable for food use.

LEFRANC & BOURGEOIS Gilding Wax is a rich paste which can be applied with a brush or cloth. Apply subsequent coats a few minutes after drying, and polish the finished article afer 12 hours drying time.
