Léonard ACRYLTEC series 212PL Flat brushes have vegan-friendly synthetic hair, which is strong, elastic & resilient and has high paint and water absorption capacity.

The bristles are interlocked, meaning two equal hair bundles are set against each other using the curvature of the hairs, with the curvature facing inwards. This gives you a smooth tip with a smooth, even brush stroke. The resilience of the hair is also further enhanced. And the brush retains its shape even when used intensively.

This brush is versatile. You can use it - contrary to what the name might suggest - not only for acrylic colours, but also for oil colours, tempera, gouache and casein. You can use it to set up precise and finely-detailed work, for pastose colours and for adding texture.

This classic flat brush shape is a real all-rounder. It allows for characterful strokes, sharp edges, hard edges, wide strokes and setting up even fields of colour. And with the side you can apply fine details.
