This particular raw weave features a poly-cotton composition designed specifically for custom surface preparation. It is a blend of 35% cotton and 65% polyester, with a fine grain. This 225 gsm canvas is sold in rolls measuring 10 metres by 215 cm.
The high polyester content of this canvas prevents it from shrinking, sagging, or warping under varying humidity levels, making it more resilient than 100% pure cotton. The 35% cotton element preserves the traditional tactile tooth and texture that artists prefer for paint adhesion.
