LUKAS Liquid PASTEL Fixative 2232 is a tried and tested liquid fixative for chalk, charcoal, pastel and pencil work. The fixative is extremely light and does not yellow.
This LUKAS Liquid PASTEL Fixative 2232 is sold in 1 litre cans.
If, like me, you use a lot of fixative, it's worth the cost of buying this 1l can. Get a difuser, decant some fixative into a smaller pot and it's much cheaper in the long run.

Disappointing - I bought this litre container as it seemed to offer good value. However I have just started using it and the result is very disappointing. No other fixative I have used leaves a residue after spraying. This one leaves a faint fine white dust over everything unless you spray the lightest coat onto the paper. Particularly disastrous for pastels, it alters the tonal relationship of colours. I was astonished to see a build-up of white residue below the area where I had been spraying a few drawings. The overspray fell to the floor and quickly produced a coating of white dusty lacquer and the drawing board was left with a dusty coat where the spray went beyond the edges of the paper.
Avoid for all but your least precious work. Probably OK for bold charcoal work but not good for fine work or colours.
