The Mabef M08 Watercolour Easel is a solid, professional studio easel. It is easily adjustable from horizontal to vertical so is ideal not only for medium-sized canvases, but also for all types of oil painting, drawing, restoration work etc.

This Mabef M08 Watercolour Easel is excellent quality, robust and reliable. The 2 solid feet ensure stability. It has an extendable central axis for canvases up to 182cm and a large canvas holder which is adjusted with wing nuts. The Mabef M08 Watercolour Easel is made from oiled beechwood. It measures 54cm W x 61cm D x 1.6-2.4 m H, and weighs 9.5kg. The working height as a table is 90cm.

Mabef M08 Watercolour Easel - The easel was as I expected. Obviously, at this price, not as weighty and robust as the college easels I've used, but it seems ok for my needs with large pieces of work, although I haven't had a chance to use it yet. I like its flexible design. I recommend putting it together when wide awake with no likely interruptions. It's not difficult to do but there are lots of bits and it needs concentration.
