update on above - They have offered to refund if I send it back.

formica palette! - Received this today and it is not wood but some formica/plastic covered thing most probably mdf. Yuk!
What was worse though was when I phoned to complain I was deliberately cut off-and believe me it was deliberate. Luckily I am quite determined and though I was made to wait for a longer than usual amount of time I got back through and am now waiting to hear what Great Art will do to resolve it.
