Cernit Modelling Clay No 1 is an opaque modelling clay with a porcelain-like finish. Once kneaded the dough is simple to shape, stretch and model.
This Cernit Modelling Clay No 1 can be cut or decorated with scissors, knives, toothpicks etc. When your creation is complete it should be baked in the oven at a maximum of 130°C for 30 minutes - for this reason Cernit Modelling Clay is not recommended for children under 8 years. Once cured your models can be painted with watercolour or acrylic paint, varnished, decorated etc. and they will be dishwasher safe. This Cernit Modelling Clay No 1 conforms to EU safety standard EN 71/13/5/9. All colours are intermixable and can be used for marbling.
Cernit Modelling Clay No 1 is sold in 56g blocks, and some colours are also available in 250g and 500g blocks.
