PRINCETON™ Select™ ARTISTE™ Scumbler brushes 3750 are ideal for multi-media, for acrylic, watercolour, gouache and oil paints. The brushes have shorter handles - perfect if you want to be a little closer to your work.
PRINCETON™ Select™ ARTISTE™ is a vast line of 29 distinct shapes created for oil, acrylic and watercolour artists. The brushes have satin-finish jewel-tone blue handles and silver ferrules. The hog bristles of these brushes are very compactly set so the brushes are stiffer than you might expect, and you work with very little, undiluted paint in a stabbing technique - a bit like dry brush painting.
A scumbler brush is essentially used to lightly scrub paint onto a surface to achieve a subtle, broken colour effect.
