Only these strong PROXXON Spare Cutting Wires for THERMOCUT 12/E should be used as a replacement in the hand-held hot wire cutter, item code 81480. The easily deformable wires are ideal for modelling.

The much thinner cutting wire for stationary machines quickly overheats in this hand tool and can burn up. In addition, the wire is too fine to be sufficiently tensioned.
