SENNELIER Turner Retouching Varnish is used as a temporary varnish to protect the canvas from dust or during moving. It is ideal for correcting sinkage, brightening tones or restarting oil work on a dry base.
This SENNELIER Turner Retouching Varnish has a very diluted base so it does not suffocate the painting and does not slow down the oxidation process very much. It reduces in strength over time.
This Dammar gum based light varnish is quick drying. It provides a good grip between layers of paint and can also be used as a temporary painting varnish. SENNELIER Turner Retouching Varnish can be thinned with petroleum spirits or turpentine if required. It is sold in 1 litre bottles.
