The URSUS® Eyelet Setter is a highly versatile, hammerless craft tool designed to punch holes and set eyelets freely anywhere you want them. It is perfect for numerous craft projects.
With these punches you can make holes and insert eyelets in 3 easy steps:
- First, punch the material. Place the sharp, hollow metal tip vertically against your cardstock. Hold the lower plastic grip firmly with one hand, pull the top plunger straight up with your other hand, and let go. The internal spring slams down to cleanly punch the hole.
- Second, position an eyelet in the hole. Push the barrel of your metal eyelet up through the bottom of the punched hole so the finished, decorative rim rests against the front side of your project
- Third, flange and lock the eyelet. Flip your paper over so the exposed, un-flanged tail of the eyelet faces up. Place the opposite, conical end of the tool directly inside the eyelet barrel. Pull and release the spring plunger again to spread and flatten the metal tabs flat against your card
