This Viarco® ART GRAF® GRAPHITE INK is for silkscreen and printing. It allows you to create prints with the appearance and texture of a pencil drawing, and is compatible with watercolours and dry techniques.
The high quality ink has a high concentration of graphite, and is dilutable in water. It is also ideal for use in engraving, calligraphy, Sumi-e painting, etc.
Once dry the print can be altered with watercolour techniques. You can add layers of water to obtain effects of washing, blending and transparency. This capacity for intervention and manipulation adds a dynamic and experimental element to the final work, allowing the exploration of different techniques and results.
