WELTE Ceramic Glaze Powders are available in 1 kg boxes. These glossy glazes show mirror-like light reflection on the surface, which can be more or less transparent or opaque depending on the colouring or opacity.

The glazes are often used as a base or as a coating for decorations, the colourless and white glazes are ideal for this purpose. WELTE Ceramic Glazes are suitable for all application methods: brush application, dipping, pouring and spraying, and are suitable for all types of clay - the effects appear slightly darker on red and black clay.

The glazes - completely intermixable - achieve the most beautiful firing results at 1060° C, with a firing range between 1020 and 1080° C. An increase in temperature slightly smoothes the glaze level. All WELTE glazes are lead-free.

To make the colour appearance even more interesting, we offer a whole range of speckled effect glazes in addition to the single-colour gloss glazes, which enjoy great popularity. The non-uniform appearance of the individual glaze expresses decorative liveliness. Uneven surfaces, clouding, colouring, precipitation or crystallisation, lustre and metal effects are created by the reactivity of the different raw materials in the firing and show the unique character of real ceramics. Additional effects can also be achieved by combining different glazes on top of each other. WELTE Ceramic Glazes are ideal for eating and drinking utensils.
