White Body Casting Slip is a ready-to-use, low dust, exceptionally white casting slip, firing at 1050° C, ideal for the hobby market. It only needs to be mixed with water.

This White Body Casting Slip is suitable for glazes with a high coefficient of thermal expansion.

Key product features:

  • firing range from 1000 - 1150° C
  • water absorption: 1060° C - 25%, 1120° C - 25%
  • supplied in handy 25kg plastic bags

Tips! The addition of different plasticisers is not necessary, as the necessary plasticiser is already contained in the slip. The mass has to be stirred at min. 1000° C or the body will not be ceramically consolidated and cracks will appear after the biscuit firing (due to moisture expansion).
