WINSOR & NEWTON™ watercolour permanent masking medium permanently masks the paper and makes it water resistant. It is perfect for isolating areas with fine details.

You can apply WINSOR & NEWTON™ watercolour permanent masking medium directly to the paper, or mix it with a little watercolour paint. It cannot be removed from the paper and, being liquid wax, dries more slowly than masking gum. When dry, the medium will repel superimposed washes. It is sold in stable and light 75 ml PET bottles.

TIP! Allow to dry completely before overpainting.
