Borciani e Bonazzi UNICO SILVER 811 Flat brushes are versatile all-round brushes that excel in many different techniques, both with diluted or undiluted paint and ink.

The resilient, wear-resistant and dimensionally stable vegan-friendly synthetic hair is micro-perforated, giving it high absorption with medium to slow release. The line is clear and precise, both on medium-absorbent and rougher surfaces.

➽ With ink, you can apply uninterrupted colour gradations with a single fully loaded brush, for example by applying increasingly lighter shading.

➽ Acrylic paint can be used undiluted, for example for dry-brush techniques. Or diluted, for precise and clean lines.

➽ For oil paint, your brush needs a certain stiffness — this brush has that. You can work with full colours. Or apply details wet-on-wet, so that they fade slightly.

➽ When working with watercolour pencils, you can create a subtle undertone if you don't smudge everything. The pencil strokes that you don't smudge then act as a kind of shading — perfect for layouts and illustrations.

Borciani e Bonazzi — tradition and innovation since 1951!

The founders of the Italian family business Borciani e Bonazzi — B♦B for short — are brother Arturo and sister Wilma Bonazzi. They started their business in 1951 in a small craft workshop in the Emilia region of Italy. The name came about when Wilma's husband, the young Borciani, joined the company.

Today, their brushes are still made one by one by hand, combining traditional techniques — learned from local craftsmen — with top-quality materials, such as innovative, high-end synthetic fibres.
