The new BOTZ Edition Stoneware Liquid Engobes are an exquisite selection of high-quality stoneware engobes that open up new design possibilities for ceramic designers.
With 15 luminous stoneware engobes, creative colour mixtures are now possible in high firing. These engobes can be applied to both leather-hard and biscuit-fired clay.
The engobes are ideal for a firing range from 1180° C to 1280° C. They are characterised by their soft mattness, good opacity, colour intensity and clear contours, even without additional glaze. However, if they are coated with a transparent glaze, they shine even brighter and are given a glossy effect. Depending on the glaze chosen, they can also be recommended for dinnerware.

TIP! Without glaze, soft matt/earthy, good coverage and sharp contours; if overglazed with transparent glaze (e.g. BOTZ PRO or BOTZ stoneware) the colours become intensely colourful, bright and glossy and - depending on the glaze - are recommended for tableware.
