CHARBONNEL Water-Based Mixtion is a milky liquid glue perfect for gilding. It is a special type of varnish which acts as an adhesive for the gold leaf. It is sold in 118 ml bottles.

Apply the CHARBONNEL Water-Based Mixtion evenly with a soft brush and wait until it is still sticky but almost dry.This CHARBONNEL Water-Based Mixtion is ideal for gilding wood and plaster indoors. For strongly absorbent surfaces, the support should be prepared with a Gesso. CHARBONNEL Water-Based Mixtion is ready-to-use but can be diluted with water if necessary.
