Chelsea Classical Studio products are natural, traditional oil painting media of the highest quality. They are made using traditional techniques and recipes, contain no harsh chemicals and are certified AP non-toxic. All oils are cold pressed, non-toxic and naturally cleaned. Painting media, solvents and varnishes are produced without turpentine or petroleum benzine and therefore do not give off any carcinogenic vapours.

This Chelsea Classical Studio Oil Painting Cube Sampler Set contains the following 8 sample sizes:

• 30 ml extra pale, cold pressed linseed oil - mix with pigments to create colours, and when used together with solvents, resins and siccatives, excellent painting media are created.
• 30 ml extra pale, old pressed walnut oil - improves the richness and brightness of whites and light colours.
• 30 ml lean medium - a mixture of the extra-clear, cold-pressed linseed oil and lavender spike oil essence. It dries quickly, is resistant to yellowing and is recommended for the first coats of paint. Ideal for the "fat on lean" technique.
• 30 ml fat medium - a mixture of extra clear, cold-pressed linseed oil and lavender damar varnish. It is glossy, quick-drying, resistant to yellowing and is recommended for subsequent layers of paint. Ideal for the "fat on lean" technique.
• 30 ml lavender spike oil essence - evaporates at a rate similar to turpentine and is mixed with mediums, varnishes and paints to make them thinner and leaner. Also suitable for the production of varnishes.
• 30 ml lavender damar varnish - as a final picture varnish to preserve and protect your painting, as an additive in painting media for more gloss and accelerated drying and diluted with solvent as a retouching varnish.
• 30 ml lavender brush cleaner - safe, natural solvent for cleaning brushes. It is suitable for cleaning while painting and to thoroughly clean brushes after painting. Reliably dissolves paint, resins and pigments.
• 56 g lavender & olive oil brush soap - cleans and cares for the brush hair, additionally supplies it with moisture. Apply after cleaning with brush cleaner or solvent. Just rinse off with warm water.
