The paper in these Clairefontaine Brown KRAFT pads is made from long unbleached natural fibres, which give it its characteristic brown colour, and its strength and flexibility (hence its use for packaging).

Clairefontaine Brown KRAFT paper retains pigments from dry techniques due to its ribbed surface, which is reminiscent of traditional laid papers. Its resistance also allows for wet techniques. This paper is appreciated for its ease of use, its rawness and versatility. The Clairefontaine Brown KRAFT pads are top-glued, and contain 100 sheets of 90 gsm paper.
