Cléopâtre Crackling Medium creates cracks in acrylic and gouache paints to produce artificial ageing of painted surfaces and give the 'shabby chic' or vintage look. It is sold in 100 g bottles.
TIP! Depending on the brush you use, you can create modern or antique cracks with this medium: dab the paint on with the final coat to achieve beautiful modern cracks. Applying the paint with a soft brush, on the other hand, creates classic cracks.
This Cléopâtre Crackling Medium adheres to almost all surfaces such as ceramics, glass, wood, canvas, cardboard, plaster, metal and many other materials, and can be applied vertically. It is colourless, water-thinnable and very easy to use.
