da Vinci SPIN Wide brushes series 5080 are ideal for watercolour and silk painting, but also for acrylic painting and varnishing. They are ideal for use in schools, and offer good colour uptake and uniform application.

These da Vinci SPIN Wide brushes series 5080 have supple gold synthetic fibres, short lacquered red and black DUROPLUS handles, and stainless steel ferrules. The DUROPLUS handle method is a patented technology used by da Vinci to mount brush fibres in a rust-proof ferrule. It is used to secure the fibers more securely, especially in larger brushes that are used more heavily. The method uses rivets, specially designed handles, and adhesives to secure the fibres. The rivets are dipped in glue and connect the fibres to the handle, thus ensuring a long brush life.
