DANIEL SMITH Watercolor Grounds are ideal for making surfaces smooth and absorbent for watercolours. They can be used on cardboard, wood, metal, glass, plastic, textiles etc.
These DANIEL SMITH Watercolor Grounds should be applied by brush. Once fully dry the support will have a velvety, cotton-like surface similar to fine-grained watercolour paper. DANIEL SMITH Watercolor Grounds can be easily removed again to make corrections. They can also be used for corrections on normal watercolour paper as they can be overpainted once dry.
