Eli-Chem Resins Cell-Base Instant Cell Creator is an extraordinary and innovative product for resin art. It is a colouring and cell-building medium in one.

The medium is already pigmented so you can create incredible effects. It is perfect as a colourant for the upper layers in your pouring works.

This product opens up completely new possibilities for artistic work with resins. Cell-Base Instant Cell Creator was specially developed for MasterCast 1-2-1. In terms of viscosity, density and curing behaviour, this resin is excellent for working with Cell-Base. If you use a different resin, you may get different effects.

Cell-Base is used just like a regular pigment which you mix into your resin, the only difference is that you use it as your base colour. For best results you need to work at a steady pace with no pauses between steps, once you pour your base layer the pigment starts losing reactivity so don’t wait too long before adding your top colours. As soon as your top colours are down it’s time to swipe!

TIP — We found that a thin top layer and a light touch to the swipe works best, adding heat will help more cells to form.
