Esprit Composite Shellac Varnish is used for gilding objects or surfaces and is ideal for protecting applied metal leaf. It can also be used as a protective varnish for plaster, clay or synthetic resin.

This Esprit Composite Shellac Varnish can be diluted with alcohol, turpentine, white spirit or petrol. It is sold in 500 ml bottles and is available in white (to preserve the true color of silver, white gold, or pale surfaces), or brown (to add a warm, traditional amber-tinted finish)

TIP! This shellac varnish is also suitable for use as a binder and fixative for patina.
