Essdee SoftCut Carving Blocks have been formulated for very easy cutting. They hold fine detail without crumbling and yet withstand the pressures of a printing press.
This new material is the best alternative to lino. It can be drawn on in pencil due to its nearly white surface. Essdee SoftCut Carving Blocks have one fine smooth side and one textured side. Essdee SoftCut Carving Blocks are both double sided and flexible. They are 3mm thick and are available in packs of 2 or 10 blocks, in various formats.
