Gerstaecker Stay-Wet Paint Palettes are made from sturdy, white plastic with multiple wells and flexible grey lids. They are easy to wash, and are available in different sizes. They are perfect for acrylics, watercolours and tempera.

These Gerstaecker Stay-Wet Paint Palettes will keep your paints moist and workable for days. The bottom of the lid is designed so that even on the move the paints can't spill into each other. These palettes have a practical 'plug-in' system so they can be joined and stacked to suit your needs.

I have used these "palettes" for some months in favour of the other kind of "stay wet" palettes. I have found the advantages are that my actual working palette does not deteriorate, remains dry and can be as large as I like. One trick is to spoon in drops of water onto the colours in each compartment as and when required. In this way, the paint remains moist indefinitely. A very useful product.
