etter art TOTALCAST Clear Artwork Resin is a revolutionary hybrid polymer that produces an optically clear, high gloss finish. This brand new formulation has been developed to be user-friendly and deliver a crystal clear result every time.

This etter art TOTALCAST Clear Artwork Resin is non-toxic, odourless and solvent free. It is also UV stable. Mix in equal parts before application.

The following etter art TOTALCAST Clear Artwork Resin kits are available:

  • 49687 - 500 g tester kit
  • 49688 - 2 kg kit
  • 49689 - 4 kg kit
  • 49691 - 10 kg kit

TOTALCAST versus MASTERCAST:

  • TOTALCAST has a thinner, more liquid consistency (lower mixed viscosity around 3,300 mPa·s).
  • TOTALCAST cures faster, setting in about 3 to 4 hours (fully hard in 5–7 days) with a working time of roughly 10–20 minutes.
  • TOTALCAST is more fluid, making it ideal for pouring into moulds, embedding, potting, encapsulating, and making jewellery, as well as thin seal coatings up to ~20 mm thick.

  • MASTERCAST 1-2-1 has a medium-to-higher mixed viscosity (around 4,400 mPa·s) and a thicker consistency.
  • MASTERCAST 1-2-1 offers a longer working time (15–30 minutes) and a slower cure time of 6 to 8 hours.
  • MASTERCAST 1-2-1 is specifically formulated for resin art (fluid painting, pigmenting, and color manipulation) in single layers from 0.5 mm to 5 mm thick
