Liquitex® PROFESSIONAL ACRYLIC MEDIUMS™ Matte Gel can be mixed with Liquitex® Heavy Body Acrylic to obtain paint similar in colour depth to oil paint. It can also be used as a ground for acrylic paint.
If used as a ground it offers excellent tooth and adhesion, allowing some colour and texture of the support to show through.
This Liquitex® Matte Gel dries to a translucent satin matt finish. It extends the volume of acrylic paints and increases translucency whilst maintaining or increasing paint viscosity. It is available in 237 ml pots.
