The Gerstacker Folding Seat and Backpack is perfect for any painting trip as it is a spacious backpack and comfortable seat all in one. The folding stool has a sturdy steel frame and a tear-resistant fabric seat.

The backpack is internally insulated with a thermal layer to protect your art materials from heat and frost. On the outside there are non-insulated storage pockets for carrying brush holders, notebooks, pencils, sharpeners etc.

The backpack measures approx. 39 cm x 29 cm x 21 cm (H x W x D), and the stool approx 27 cm x 29 cm. The height of the stool is 43 cm. The maximum load capacity of the Gerstacker Folding Seat and Backpack is 100 kg and the weight (empty) is approx. 1.53 kg.

Good idea and design! even with my zip has broken buying another one for my friend.

Really useful folding seat and back pack - The seat is sturdy and comfortable, although that probably depends on your size, I'm 5' 7'' tall and 9 1/2 st. My husband sat on it who is wellover 6' tall and it definitely sank down a bit lower, although still good to use.
Plenty of room for materials in the silver insulated main carrying area (not sure if this is to keep your painting protected or to put your sandwiches in, probably work for both).
I’ve not used a folding seat/back pack combo before but very happy with this one.
