Gerstaecker Iron III Chloride Solution 40% is the ideal etchant. This ready-to-use solution provides uniform etching of zinc, copper and brass.

N.B. Use protective gloves to stop your hands turning brown, and protect your clothing (ferric chloride solution causes rust stains). Keep the bowl moving during the etching process.
