Gerstaecker Special Tissue Paper weighs 18 gsm. It is bleached ultra white, is chlorine and acid-free and is very resistant.

Large sheets of tissue paper-generous pack - I use tissue paper in a variety of ways specifically painting and drawing on the surface HAVING PRE_PREPARED IT with covering of dilute pva (i/3 pva 2/3 water/
I use 3 tissue layers in all pvaing between each and finally 'seal' the top surface with pva concoction. The tissue becomes stronger and can resemble semi transparent glass if painted with water-colours.
This surface contributes (as all surface of materials do -e.g different weights of paper) in this case to allow for beautiful accidents AND RESPONSIVENESS. THE LARGE SHEETS ALLOW FOR VERY BIG WORKS..OR IF FOLDED SEVERAL TIMES A READY MADE SECURE SANDWICH BASE.
