GIUSTO MANETTI Dewaxed Liquid Shellac is a ready-to-use solution recommended for subtly protecting and polishing leaf gilding, both precious metal and imitation. Once dry it enhances surface warmth subtly.
This shellac is a natural resin in an alcohol solution, purified of colours and impurities.
Before applying the product, all surfaces must be perfectly clean, dry and free of fat deposits. GIUSTO MANETTI Dewaxed Liquid Shellac requires no preliminary preparation. It is ready-to-use, and can be applied by brush, spray or pad. The glaze obtained is bright, transparent and slightly warm in hue.
Application method and quantities applied may significantly affect workability time frames. The most suitable application methods should be determined experimentally on the basis of support used and desired result.
TIP! Store in a cool, dry place in its own container, closed, and away from direct light and heat. The ideal temperature is 15-25° C with humidity under 50%.
