GIUSTO MANETTI Variegated Imitation Gold Leaf sheets are sold in booklets of 25 loose imitation gold leaves. Each leaf measures 14 cm × 14 cm and features a variegated, multicolour finish designed for decorative gilding and art projects.
Loose imitation gold leaf can be used to gild both flat and carved surfaces. Sheets are placed loosely between the paper pages of the booklet, and are ideal for detailed, carved, or intricate surfaces.
These GIUSTO MANETTI Variegated Imitation Gold Leaf sheets are available in 2 different colourways:
- 63028 = 01 - featuring deep, dark, and autumnal tones, often displaying reddish-brown, fiery, and deep copper-like hues.
- 63061 = 02 - tends to feature cooler, more iridescent, and flame-like patterns with prominent flashes of vibrant blue and dark, almost black or purple highlights
TIP! Because these sheets are made from a base metal alloy (typically copper and zinc) rather than genuine gold, both options must be sealed and protected with a dedicated varnish or lacquer to prevent them from tarnishing and oxidising over time
