Contents of the GLOREX Do It Yourself Natural Cosmetics Lip Balm set at a glance:

  • 25 g beeswax Cera Alba
  • 25 g cacao butter chips
  • 25 ml coconut oil
  • 25 ml jojoba oil
  • 3 x 6 ml lipstick tubes
  • 2 x 10 ml aluminium screw top jars
  • 2 x wooden stirring sticks
  • 3 x rubber rings

Lip balm with jojoba oil - instructions:

  • First of all, you need clean hands, a clean environment and clean utensils as well as a pot of hot water, an accurate scale, various beakers, a glass stirring rod or spatula and cream jars so that you can fill the finished cream.
  • Fill a pot with 3-4 cm of water. Do not fill with more water, otherwise the glass beaker could tip over.
  • Heat the water to approx. 80°C. Weigh out the beeswax and cocoa butter, place in the large beaker in a bain-marie and melt while stirring.
  • Hold the bottle with the coconut oil briefly in the warm water so that it flows easily out of the bottle.
  • Then measure the jojoba oil and coconut oil into the small beaker and add to the melted mixture. Stir the ingredients together briefly.
  • Now you can carefully fill the mixture. Leave to harden in the fridge.

TIP! If you are filling into lipstick tubes it is easier to tie 3 tubes together with a rubber band so that the tubes stand firmly.
