Glorex Hobby Time Soft Clay is a natural, particularly soft and supple clay, ideal for children. It hardens in the air but can also be kiln-fired if you would like your creation to be food safe.
Finished items made from Glorex Hobby Time Soft Clay can be painted or lacquered, whether air-dried or kiln-fired. If you are going to kiln-fire your finished product allow it to air dry for 3 to 4 weeks first so it does not explode in the oven. Then bake at 1050° C for an earthenware finish and again at a higher temperature (1200° C) for a smoother finish. Glorex Hobby Time Soft Clay is available in white or terracotta in various size blocks.
