GOLDEN® ABSORBENT GROUND is an opaque acrylic primer designed to create a porous, paper-like surface on various supports. It can be used on canvas, wood, etc., provided the surface is properly primed with gesso.
When applied over gesso, it is possible to achieve watercolour-like splatter and stain effects, similar to those on unprepared canvas or paper.
TIP! All Golden® Mediums are completely waterproof after drying!
