Selection: pack of 36

These Hiro Leonardt Papercutter Nibs 603 are not traditional writing or calligraphy dip pen nibs, instead they are specialised cutting, scraping, and scratching tools shaped like a lance or scalpel blade.

The sharp, fine point is designed to carve highly intricate lines and details into scraperboards, while the broad, flat edges of the double-sided blade are used to clear away larger areas of the top coating. This blade is also used for filigree papercutting and fine linocut detailing, and artists use it as a "lance eraser" or "print trimmer" to physically scrape away stubborn Indian ink or dried gouache from heavy paper and illustration boards without ruining the surface.

Hiro Leonardt Papercutter Nibs 603 are made of rigid, polished stainless steel to maintain a sharp edge under pressure. They feature a lance-shaped, double-sided flat blade rather than a reservoir tip. Despite its unique shape, the base of the nib is curved like a standard dip pen, meaning it fits into universal dip pen nib holders.

These nibs are sold in packs of 36 nibs, making them extremely suitable for classes, courses and workshops.

TIP! Clean new or unused stainless steel blades by washing them with warm water and mild dish soap using a soft sponge, then drying them thoroughly with a microfibre cloth.
