Selection: pack of 36
The Hiro Leonardt Pointed Nib G-41 are highly regarded polished dip pen nibs primarily used for pointed pen scripts, modern calligraphy styles, drawing, and copperplate lettering.
The G-41 is famous for being exceptionally smooth-gliding, making it one of the few flexible nibs that rarely catches on upstrokes or grabs paper fibres, even when used on heavily textured papers. Because of its wider, unique architectural shape, it naturally holds more ink than standard pointed nibs, allowing you to write longer phrases between dips. The highly elastic springy nib produces moderately thick, juicy swells under downward pressure. However, it yields slightly thicker hairlines compared to hyper-fine nibs, offering a low-contrast look that brings a unique character to modern scripts.
TIP! Due to its high flexibility and large ink release, this nib can be a bit challenging for absolute beginners to control. It is highly recommended for intermediate to advanced calligraphers looking to expand their style.
It has a stroke width of approx. 0.8 mm. Hiro Leonardt Pointed Nibs G-41 are sold in packs of 36 nibs.
