These Hiro Leonardt Tube Nibs 801 (or Mapping Nibs) are specialised, extra-fine cylindrical dip pen nibs designed primarily for intricate drawing, cartography, and filigree illumination.

The nibs have a seamless tube/cylindrical design (often categorised as a "crow quill" or "capillary" nib) rather than a flat ribbon shape. They feature a distinct bronze-coloured plating that provides mild rust resistance.

Hiro Leonardt Tube Nibs 801 yield hair-thin lines under minimal pressure, making them a favourite for ultra-fine details and outlining. They are sold in packs of 36 nibs, making them ideal for classes, courses and workshops.

TIP! Because of its narrow cylindrical base, this nib will not fit into standard universal dip pen holders. It requires a specialised mapping or crow-quill holder.
