Excellent for fine pencil work - As an artist who uses primarily pencils for my work, it's essential that I use quality products, while balancing that with cost. I Love Art Bristol board is not only great value, but its super fine surface makes it perfect for doing detailed drawings. It can take plenty of erasing and blending of graphite, but for CP it is too smooth for layering. I also found it was perfect for using pens to do Manga style drawings.

When I first ordered it, I wasn't expecting it to be as good as it turned out to be. I guess i was expecting it to be flimsy and dull, instead the board is fairly sturdy and bright white in tone. Bristol Board can be very expensive and if you're on a budget this is the perfect solution.

It arrived promptly and well packaged for transit. However, it is essential that it is stored flat as it can be easily damaged and bend if not treated correctly as it is only wrapped in a plastic cover.

All in all, highly recommended!
