This Jacques HERBIN ÉCLATS Pigmented Ink set contains 4 x 15 ml bottles of highly pigmented, decorative ink. They contain solid particles (pigments) that sit on the surface of the paper, providing unique metallic and opaque effects.
These inks are designed for use with brushes, airbrushes, or dip pens. Due to their pigmented nature, they are generally not recommended for standard fountain pens unless specifically stated, as the particles can clog the feed. They are particularly effective on dark papers, which enhance their metallic and opaque properties.
The Jacques HERBIN ÉCLATS Pigmented Ink set contains the following colours:
- gold ○ silver ○ copper ○ white
The metallic shades provide a shimmering decorative finish, while the white offers a stark, opaque highlight. Like the rest of the Éclats range, these colours can be mixed with each other or diluted with water to create custom metallic gradients.
