JAXELL® | Soft Pastel set — 72 pastels, 72 colours

This JAXELL® Soft Pastel set contains 72 artists' quality pastels at an amazing price, presented in a stylish wooden case with metal clasps. These pastels have excellent pigmentation giving them strong, rich colours.

The pastels are square in shape but are softer than other carré pastels. They can be blended with water. Each pastel measures 64 mm x 10 mm x 10 mm and has a protective paper sleeve.

Good value - These are a good quality pastel, though you can't add as many layers as other brands such as Daler Rowney. They are quite a hard pastel though they do spread well and stick to the paper well. They are a good pastel for a beginner as they are not too expensive but are of a better quality than similar priced pastels. They would also be good for base layers before going on to more expensive soft pastels.

Set Of 72 Jaxell Soft Pastels - I am so pleased with this. The wooden case is really sturdy and I know that my pastels are safe when I am travelling. It came exceptionally well packed and arrived quickly. Fantastic value.
