The high quality KOH-I-NOOR 1500 Professional Graphite Pencils have been valued for generations. The leads are composed of high-purity Hardtmuth graphite combined with a proprietary blend of clays and binders. They are encased in California cedar wood, which is exceptionally warp-resistant and sharpens cleanly without snagging. The cores are glued along their entire length to the wooden casing to prevent inner lead breakage during usage or heavy sharpening.
