Brush size: 24
This lineo Watercolour Plein Air brush series 168 is a liner brush, with an extra long fine point made of golden synthetic Toray hair. Toray hair is elastic, resilient and dimensionally stable, and is more robust and durable than natural hair.
Toray hair is also 100% vegan-friendly - and easier to clean! The brush has a seamless nickel-plated ferrule and a short black-lacquered handle.
This special brush has been developed together with Elke Memmler, the renowned German watercolourist. The sturdy pointed tip holds enough paint - not just watercolour and gouache, but also highly diluted acrylics and casein, or ink - to allow you to work for longer periods at a time, without having to reload your brush. It is perfect for drawing long lines and painting - en plein air or otherwise - floral motifs, such as leaves and flowers.
The lineo Watercolour Plein Air brush series 168 is a size 24, and is a must-have brush for plein air artists!
TIP! Because Toray hair is tapered like natural hair - i.e. it narrows towards the tip - you can also work sharply and precisely with it.
