lineo French Watercolour brushes series 1001 Elke Memmler edition are mop brushes made from newly developed synthetic squirrel hair. They have synthetic quill ferrules, brass thread and short lacquered natural wooden handles.

These brushes are a masterpiece of traditional brush making! They were developed together with the artist Elke Memmler. They feel just like natural squirrel and are perfect for demanding artists.

The newly developed material is very soft and yet quite elastic. Once it is wet, it forms a nice long tip. The brush has a high colour holding capacity and wonderful paint releasing characteristics. At any time, the point gives you full control over an even and consistent colour flow, always allowing you to also absorb surplus paint. lineo French Watercolour brushes series 1001 are great for washes and can also perfectly be used for detailed painting on larger scales.
