Marabu Silk Paints are brilliant, water-based paints ideal for school, hobby, leisure etc.They are perfect for all silks and thin cotton fabrics.
These intermixable Marabu Silk Paints can be used for all silk painting techniques such as contour, salt, watercolour, airbrush etc. They are luminous, brilliant, lightfast and washable, and they have excellent flow properties.
Marabu Silk Paints can be fixed either by ironing or in the oven after drying:
Set the iron to cotton temperature and iron for 2-3 minutes on the reverse or use baking paper (30cm x 30cm per area), through a thin cotton cloth. Constantly move the iron.
Alternatively, fix the silk paints for approx. 8 minutes at 150°C in a pre-heated oven. We recommend laying the silk onto baking paper to avoid unwelcome scorches. This fixing method is not suitable for large silks.
Stir and lightly shake before use. Clean brushes and other equipment with water immediately after use. Marabu Silk Paints are available in a large colour range, in 50ml bottles.
